1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. They are commonly used to remember sign-in state, save preferences, count visitors (analytics), or track behaviour across sites for advertising.

2. Cookies set by eatcrimp.uk

None. The site is a single-page browser game with no accounts, preferences or analytics. We do not set first-party cookies.

3. Cookies set by third parties

Two third-party services are loaded by this page:

• Netlify (hosting). Netlify does not set tracking cookies on visitors of static sites in its default configuration as used here. Netlify may use short-lived technical cookies for security purposes (e.g. bot detection) at the network edge; these are not used by us for tracking. See netlify.com/privacy.
• Google Fonts (font CSS and font files served from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts requests in the configuration used here do not set advertising or tracking cookies. They do, however, expose your IP address to Google. See developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.

4. Browser-local game state

The game stores a small piece of progress data (which gravies you have unlocked) in your browser's localStorage under the key crimp_gravy_unlocks. This is not a cookie, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and stays only on your own device. You can clear it at any time using your browser's "clear site data" controls. The game also keeps short-lived state in memory while the page is open, which is discarded when you close the tab.

5. How to refuse or delete cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time using your browser's settings. Because this site does not set cookies, doing so has no effect on the game. The third-party services listed above will respect your browser's settings (e.g. tracking-prevention modes).
